booteek MCP Connector
Bring Breo — booteek’s AI-visibility coach for independent restaurant and bar owners — into Claude or ChatGPT. Ask about your venue’s B.E.S.T. Score, your Google Business Profile gaps, and whether AI assistants are surfacing you — in the assistant you already use every day.
This is your booteek account, inside your assistant
The connector is private to you. When you add it, your assistant signs you in to booteek once (a standard OAuth approval screen) and then answers from yourvenue’s data. It is read-only — it can look things up, but it never changes your Google profile, your booteek account, or anything else. There is no public, account-free mode.
Add the connector
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector and paste this URL:
https://booteek.ai/api/mcp/mcpClaude will open a booteek sign-in, then an approval screen. Approve it once and the tools appear. Your assistant stays connected — you won’t be asked to sign in again unless you remove the connector or leave it unused for a long stretch.
ChatGPT supports custom connectors via Developer Mode on Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise plans (read-only there). The same URL works.
Try these prompts
Once connected, ask your assistant things like:
- “How's my AI visibility right now?”
- “What's my B.E.S.T. Score, and which arm is weakest?”
- “What should I fix on my Google Business Profile first?”
- “Are AI assistants recommending my venue yet?”
- “How visible is The Wolseley on AI assistants?”
Your assistant calls the tools below, then talks you through the answer in plain language.
What it can do
Five read-only tools — three about your venue, two about any venue you name:
my_best_scoreyour venueYour venue's booteek B.E.S.T. Score and its four arms — Build, Employee Excellence, Service Reputation, Traction — with your recent climb.my_ai_visibilityyour venueWhether ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity are surfacing your venue, tracked over time.my_gbp_completenessyour venueThe missing and weak fields on your Google Business Profile, ranked by their impact on AI-assistant visibility.venue_gbp_completenessany venueThe same Google Business Profile read for any restaurant or bar you name — the gaps that hold a venue back.venue_ai_visibilityany venueWhether a named venue shows up in AI-assistant answers, from booteek's citation-probe corpus.
The my_* tools give booteek Pro subscribers their full live read; without an active subscription they return a coaching overview and how to unlock the rest. Writing changes back to your Google profile is a separate, owner-approved step — not part of this read-only connector.
Honest by design
Every figure the connector returns is computed from data booteek already holds, stamped with the date it was measured, and bounded to exactly what was checked — never rounded up to “all good”. A generic Google category (just “Restaurant” or “Bar”) is reported as a gap to fix, not a tick. AI-citation results say how large the sample was, so “not found” means “not in our probe sample”, never “invisible”.
One thing to know about how assistants work: Claude and ChatGPT may answer a repeated question from earlier in the same chat without calling the tool again. If a number looks stale, start a fresh chat — that forces a fresh, live lookup.
Troubleshooting
- Not asked to sign in? The connector requires a booteek sign-in. If your assistant adds it without an approval screen, you’ve pasted the wrong URL — it must be
https://booteek.ai/api/mcp/mcp. - Tools don’t appear after approving? Reload your assistant, or remove and re-add the connector and approve again.
- Asked to sign in again later? A connector left unused for a long time will ask you to reconnect — approve once more and it’s back.
- A
my_*tool only gives an overview? The full live read needs an active booteek Pro subscription. Thevenue_*tools work for any connected owner. - “Not in our index” for a venue? booteek covers independent restaurants and bars across the UK, Portugal and Spain. A venue we don’t hold yet returns honestly rather than guessing.

Data & privacy
- The connector returns your own booteek account data (your venue’s score and profile reads) plus public, aggregate venue data for venues you name — never reviewer identities or personal review content.
- Access is granted by your OAuth approval and tied to your booteek account. Remove the connector in your assistant’s settings at any time to revoke it.
- It is read-only and backed by database roles scoped to the data above. Team members are referenced by role, never by name.
- Your prompts pass through your assistant provider (Anthropic or OpenAI). On their paid and business tiers this traffic is generally not used to train their models — see their policies.
